If you are looking to take a cycling trip to Italy, you have absolutely come to the right place! My fiancé and I booked a cycling trip in June 2024 that departed September 2024. I connected with Bob and Catarina who were always available for phone calls to answer any questions. Once the trip was booked, they remained available and answered all questions leading up our big adventure. We biked in Treviso, to the Prosecco Hills and spend a couple days in the Dolomites. The experience was absolutely unforgettable. Treviso was the perfect way to be introduced and get our feet wet onto the Italy roads. The Prosecco Hills were stunning!!! There were minimal cars on the road and the views were beautiful! The Dolomites were an absolute dream. The accommodations were incredible!! Bob and Catarina have created the perfect app which allows riders to be able to view the potential routes. The details on the app provides distance, elevation, the amount of climbs, etc. The app was super helpful and allowed us to decide everyday which was the best route to take each morning. The best thing about this trip was the fact that it is not completely self guided, but also not guided. Bob and Catarina give you the flexibility to explore on your own accord. They provide recommendations and suggestions to ensure each day is a perfect day. They are available in the event you need assistance, however they allow you to ride at your own pace. They were the perfect hosts! They met us along the way many days to make sure our water bottles were full, we had a snack, and ensured we were okay! We unfortunately had a couple rainy days (which didn't stop us from getting on our bikes) and Catarina and Bob came with warm tea and our bags with changes of clothes to warm up! If you are considering a biking trip in Italy, this is the place to be! They make the planning process simple. They are accommodating and flexible. They are wonderful people! This trip was a dream and if we are in Italy again, we would definitely be in touch with Bob and Catarina to help us organize the perfect cycling trip. Just finished a fun cycling trip with my wife and friends in the Dolomite region last week made possible by CyclingHero, Inc. Spent 3 nights each in posh cycling hotels in Corvara, Merano and Bormio. Rode 8 out of 8 days including the Sella Ronda and Passo Stelvio. If I had the legs, I could have ridden all the epic climbs! Support was excellent as were the rental bikes.
